You must be thinking how will you obtain your ring size at home instead of going at a jewelry shop? It is very easy indeed.

All you need is the following 2 items :

• Ruler

• Thread, string or ribbon

Step 1
Take the thread or ribbon or string having approximately a length of 25mm or more.

Step 2
Wrap the thread around the finger for which you want to know your ring size. Assure that you fit the thread well in the same level where you ring should be on your finger. Do not tighten it or make it too loose.

Step 3
Mark the thread where it intersects or simply, where it completes the circle.

Step 4
Taking your ruler, measure the thread from the starting point till the marked spot and using the ring measuring chart below, see the size of your ring.

Step 2
Start brushing your gold plated jewelries softly till you will see the dirt coming out of the jewelries and sticking to your brush, forming a brown color deposit.

Step 3
As soon as all the surfaces are brushed, rinse your jewelries under cold water and be sure that all the toothpaste are removed from the jewelries.

Step 4
Take a dry soft cloth and using your fingers, rub the jewelry gently on the cloth to wipe out any drop of water left from the gold plated jewelry. This will ensure that no water spot or residue will remain on your jewelry.

Step 5
Let it them dry in open air for some minute. You will see the shine in your jewellery again.
